Technology - sometimes wonderful, sometimes a dirty word, depending on how well I cope with it.

It took me a few tries but I finally managed to set up a video bar. Naturally, it involves cakes but not my creations. Some of them are very inspiring though, I may have to borrow some ideas.

Week 3 #6 - Flickr Fun

Most of you have probably heard of the 'Iron Chef' on SBS. Well, since entering the sweet and sticky world of cupcakes, I have discovered the 'Iron Cupcake'. http://ironcupcake.blogspot.com/ .
This is a world wide competition for serious cupcakers. This is the central hub for the ultimate world-wide cupcake competition. A monthly ingredient, a monthly challenge, fabulous prizes, new ways to find other cupcake fanatics. Definitely worth a look if you're into food and creativity.
At the moment I am just a spectator but who knows what will happen....

Week 3 #5 Discover Flickr

I have just used Flickr, http://www.flickr.com/, for the first time and uploaded some photos of my latest craze, fad, passion, calling, (whatever you want to call it) which is cupcakes and cakes. Here are a couple of my first attempts at decorating, not that brilliant I know but I intend to practice, practisce, practice until they are works of art.

Week 2 #3 - Setting up your Blog - 20/10/08

Well, I've done it, I'm all set to blog away. Setting up was easy, customising my blog was not so easy (deciding on colour, layout, etc). That, I think will be a work in progress.

Now all I need to do is think of something interesting and blogworthy enough to write on a regular basis. Wish me luck!
